Maybe in '91 too can't remember if they came here on the last tour. I'll tell you this- on the '83 one- they opened for R.E.M. at Peabody's Down Under in the flats. When they came on, Paul walked up to the mike and said, "Does anybody wanna dance"? some of the crowd said yeah. He came back with, "Ok, R.E.M. will be out later" as they ripped into their set. I remember this- Tommy was 16 at the time and was wearing a white t-shirt that obviously belonged to someone else. It hung below his knees it was so big. I also remember Bob was dressed normally, not in a tutu or whatever. Love the band, love the show, but mostly love the songs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
